Forgot to mention: This happens on both X11 and Wayland sessions Hmmm, https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kremotecontrol is dead since more than half a decade, I think that bug ended up on the wrong product. Could somebody put that to the right part? Thanks! Hello! I had the same problem reported in this topic. I use Fedora and I followed these steps: 1- I downloaded the latest Fedora ISO dated 03/07/2025; 2- I put the ISO on a Pen-drive with Ventoy; 3- I started the ISO when the notebook booted; 4- Fedora started normally and Plasma recognized the side buttons of my mouse (generic mouse) normally; 5- I installed Fedora on the notebook; 6- I restarted the notebook and started the system normally from the local disk. At that moment, Plasma still recognized the side buttons of my mouse; 7- I updated the system to the latest version (data below); 8- From that moment on, Plasma stopped recognizing the side buttons of my mouse.
