Created attachment 178878 [details] Settings screenshot SUMMARY When trying to set the shortcut Alt+^ on a German keyboard an invalid Shortcut is saved (Alt+แ?). It is the same behavior with others dead keys also, like ยด `. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to Settings > Keyboard 2. Add a custom shortcut (for example Walk "Through Windows of Current Application") 3. Enter Alt+^ (Above the tab-key on German keyboard) OBSERVED RESULT The value in the UI is: Alt+แ? When exporting the kwin shortcuts the entry in te kksrc file is: Walk Through Windows of Current Application=Alt+`; Alt+แ? EXPECTED RESULT Shortcut should of be as entered (Alt+^) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
