Description Josh 2025-02-12 11:07:46 UTC
I have a fresh install of Neochat on Kubntu 24.10. If I launch Neochat from the application launcher it briefly appears in the taskbar and then disappears.

If I launch Neochat from the command line I get this error:

/snap/neochat/75/usr/bin/neochat: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.32' not found (required by /snap/neochat/75/usr/bin/neochat)

I have run "snap remove neochat --purge" and reinstalled neochat from scratch.

Regards.

I've also tried 'snap install neochat --channel latest/candidate' which installs 24.12.1 and I get the same error:

/snap/neochat/76/usr/bin/neochat: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.32' not found (required by /snap/neochat/76/usr/bin/neochat)

That worked for me. v24.12.2 installed from Snap and it ran without any errors.
