Places entries are created globally, if you ask for it, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=498579 > (it should be: right click on folder; add to places) That's already possible in Dolphin *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 498579 *** 1) There's no "Add to places" in File > Open's context menu. 2) Items added through the cumbersome workflow in File > Open do not show up in Dolphin. Hi - on my Fedora KDE 41 device, folders added to "Places" in a File > Open dialog also show up in Dolphin, and vice versa, so I can't reproduce what I think you're describing. Could you please give specific steps that could be reproduced to see that behavior? Please see https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting#Steps_to_Reproduce for a reference. Thanks! 🐛🧹 ⚠️ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information, then set the bug status to REPORTED.
