Crash is reproducible with the 8.6.0 pre-release ? https://files.kde.org/digikam/ @sven.kauntz Did you seen my previous comment ? Gilles Caulier Yes, it had done that too Try a new digikamrc configuration file. This is located under "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\digikamrc". Rename the digikamrc. During the first setup, simply enter your image folder and where the database is located. If this solves the problem, please send me the "old renamed" digikamrc so that we can reproduce it.
