Its an Dell Inspiron 16 5645 AMD Ryzen 5 8540U w/ Radeon 740M Graphics This may actually be firmware-controlled power management rather than anything we're doing in KDE code. Can you check in your laptop's BIOS to see if it has anything related to this issue that might be enabled? I did not find any bios settings allowing to control screen power. I'm sorry we weren't able to dig into this yet. Can you check and see if it's still an issue in Plasma 6.3.5 or later, and also presumably with newer system packages including newer versions of the packages for the power management stack? ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
