It looks to me like a graphics driver bug Hi - do these artifacts follow the cursor at all, or is their appearance/location changed when passed over by the cursor? In the System Settings > Display & Monitor section, are you using a display scaling percentage other than 100%? Are you using a color profile on your display? Thanks! (In reply to John Kizer from comment #10) > Hi - do these artifacts follow the cursor at all, or is their > appearance/location changed when passed over by the cursor? > > In the System Settings > Display & Monitor section, are you using a display > scaling percentage other than 100%? They do not react to the presence and movement of the cursor. 2) I use 100% as the display scaling percentage. 3) I do not use a special color profile. I also encounter this problem after installing any Linux distribution for the first time, even if I do not customize it and try to use it out of the box. Finally, I apologize for my bad English (In reply to fphcn588r from comment #11) > (In reply to John Kizer from comment #10) > > Hi - do these artifacts follow the cursor at all, or is their > > appearance/location changed when passed over by the cursor? > > > > In the System Settings > Display & Monitor section, are you using a display > > scaling percentage other than 100%? Does the issue show up if you boot from a Live USB, without installing? And does the issue show up if you boot from a Live USB using a desktop environment other than KDE Plasma? And > does the issue show up if you boot from a Live USB using a desktop > environment other than KDE Plasma? When I tried a distribution that uses KDE via live USB, I encountered the problem again. When I tried a distribution that uses GNOME via live USB, I did not encounter this problem in the system interface and the GTK applications in it, but I encountered black dots in Firefox again. |
