Hi - the design of the Application Launcher is that there's always something actively selected in the list/grid on the right-hand side. Is the proposal to make that no longer the case? That would seem difficult, as the menu can't only respond to mouse cursor position but should also be mindful of keyboard navigation. (For what it's worth, I don't necessarily know that this would be related to 494733 - that would seem to deal with desktop icons, as opposed to the Application Launcher widget?) Oh yeah, removing that would ruin keyboard usage... Didn't think of that. |
