Can reproduce. This has been fixed as of the upcoming Plasma 6.5, but possibly in an earlier Plasma version too. I can still reproduce the issue in plasma compiled from master (22/Aug/25) Also in latest stable Plasma 6.4.4 Hmm, that's odd. Would you mind attaching a screen recording that shows it happening? I recompiled some parts of Plasma today -- kwin plasma-desktop plasma-workspace kdeplasma-addons libplasma (not sure if I should've added more, just didn't want to recompile everything because it takes me hours to complete).
I tested before and after with the same result. Also reproducible on laptop with Plasma 6.4.4. I'll retest this again when 6.5 stable is released.
