Hi I use also Kubuntu 24.04 here and the problem is not reproducible at all. 1/ Please try with last 8.5.0 appimage. 2/ run digikam in gdb and capture the backtrace : https://www.digikam.org/contribute/#linux-host-1 Best Gilles Caulier The crashes between digiKam 8.0.0 to about 8.2.0 were related to the SSE detection at compile time and runtime for the QtAVPlayer. I overlooked the small print on the download page and clicked the first link. Thanks for the pointers. |
