compare flatpak with deb

SUMMARY
Flatpak ignores system integration with KDE

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install flatpak version 24.8.3 alongside 23.8.5 from kubuntu deb

OBSERVED RESULT
Flatpak ignores system look and feel
Flatpak ignores system-wide thumbnails and starts building a parallel copy
Flatpak cannot open a new gwenview window of the current picture
Flatpak doesn't know any "open with" associations, it offers to create new one, but cannot store them

EXPECTED RESULT
make Flatpak more like a native deb install

Hi - issues specific to Flathub packages for KDE applications would actually go to the Flathub GitHub repository for that application. In this case, that would be https://github.com/flathub/org.kde.gwenview/issues - where the Open With issue had already been opened, but access to the system thumbnail cache is likely a logical additional one.

For what it's worth, I could not reproduce the look and feel difference on my system, although that is likely because I was comparing a more up-to-date version (Fedora RPM version 24.08.3 to Flatpak version 24.12.0).
