Cannot reproduce at all in either Firefox or Kate, both on Fedora 41 KDE. Can you attach a screen recording that shows it happening? Thanks! ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information, then set the bug status to REPORTED. If there is no change for at least 30 days, it will be automatically closed as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. For more information about our bug triaging procedures, please read https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! This is the case in any distro for years. Tested on Fedora, Opensuse... Simply select text, without releasing the left button, click the right (without releasing the left) moves the mouse around. I can reproduce what you are describing in firefox, but not gedit or kate or dolphin. In any case this would be a client issue, please report there. ui.context_menus.after_mouseup > true Apparently this is the solution. Still, I didn't like this forum complete unhelpability, with a grain of disdain for someone trying to fill here the improvement of your software. |
