Version:           1.4.7 (using KDE 3.0.8 (KDE 3.1 beta2))
Installed from:    compiled sources
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.19

I use spamassassin to filter the spam mails (I use spamc to connect to the server because it is faster, ther server is started with the -l option so no dns lookups and so)

When I scan a big mail, kmail stops working until this mail was scanned.
It would be great if at least the GUI works, so I can read mails while downloading 2 MB from my account.
