STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. make sure the video thumbnailer is enabled in Dolphin settings
2. set icon view mode
3. rename a video file to a name containing quotation marks, like this:
this is "a" test.mkv

OBSERVED RESULT
renamed video without preview

EXPECTED RESULT
renamed video with preview

Works for me with current git master with Qt 6.8.0 on Fedora 41.

I can reproduce on neon unstable too. :(

I am unable to reproduce this bug. When renaming and pressing F5, the new thumbnail/preview appear for .mp4, .mov, .mkv with "a", “a” or «a».

Cannot reproduce anymore. Possibly fixed as said in bug 493624 comment 2
