If you press alt+space for krunner does that open as expected and is it on the black screen? I've noticed that, if autologin is disabled and that I manually login to KDE, the problem seems to occur less. It's been 3 days since I didn't get it. So I definitely suspect autologin to mess something up. As for krunner, i'll try when/if the problem reappears. Even with autologin disabled, the problem can occur... It reduces the occurrence but it still can happen... I did provided infos. Please. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495739#c3 Also, I just noticed I forgot to mention: I use Nvidia with drivers 550.120 and I'm on X11.
