Description Avraham Hollander 2024-10-14 07:21:27 UTC
SUMMARY
In Plasma <= 6.1, pressing the brightness down key while the brightness is at 0%, or pressing the brightness up key while the brightness is at 100%, causes the OSD to pop up. This is no longer the case in Plasma 6.2; nothing happens. If this is intentional, it is IMO a strange choice and I don't like it. I assume it isn't and I am considering this a bug because it is inconsistent compared to the volume OSD, which still behaves as expected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn brightness all the way up or down with the keyboard controls.
2. Press the brightness up or down key, whichever you pressed before.

OBSERVED RESULT
The OSD does not pop up.

EXPECTED RESULT
The OSD should pop up.
