Bug 494621

Summary:	For some albums, not all audio files of it are located immediately in the same folder, e.g. because the albums has several discs/CDs. In this case, Elisa shows one album per folder in the "Albums" tab, not only one album for all discs/CDs of the album.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have an album spread across several folders
2. Open Elisa
3. Go to tab "Albums"
4. Look for that album

OBSERVED RESULT
Several albums in the "Albums" tab per album.

EXPECTED RESULT
One album in the "Albums" tab per album.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Hi - just to confirm, are you able to double-check:

If this issue can be reproduced on the current version of Elisa (24.08.3)? (Available from Flathub if not offered by your distribution)

If all the files in question have identical Album tags?

well, current flatpak version is now 24.12.0. it still occurs with this version.

(and i checked again that all audio files of that album have the same Album tag)

Ah alright - I believe I've identified an existing bug that I'm going to merge this one into, so that the history of discussion/work on the issue is combined. Thanks for the bug report!
