Translucency from the panel isn't actually supposed to transfer over to desktop widgets, but there's definitely an issue here in that desktop widgets appear to be 100% opaque now. That's not intended. Can confirm in git master too. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 473289 *** |
Created attachment 174302 [details] Plasma 5 (left) and Plasma 6 (right) comparison STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use a wallpaper which allows to clearly see translucency effects 2. Enable adaptive or translucent settings under the panel opacity options 3. Add a widget to the desktop OBSERVED RESULT Widgets remain Opaque regardless of panel settings.
