Yes, it seems the error message is a little bit wrong. Actually it should read "No _trusted_ key for user blah was found". I will change this message accordingly after KDE 3.1. The rest of your problem is answered by this: http://docs.kde.org/3.0/kdenetwork/kmail/faq.html#id2836206 In short: KMail doesn't allow the usage of untrusted keys. Please check the messages in aegypten_branch now. I've rewrote most of the key resolving code, but I saw Ingo's comments on the i18n change and used the new ones. Marc can we close this wishlist now? Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
