SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  have your OS lock automatically 
2.  unlock
3.  attempt to change brightness via scrolling on the icon or clicking it and dragging the slider

OBSERVED RESULT
doesnt change, the slider glitched to where your dragging it to and back to where its stuck

EXPECTED RESULT
for brightness to be changed

Looks very much like Bug 492421 and Bug 492481

I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this report before now. Is this still happening with Plasma 6.3.2? There have been some improvements in this area.
