Created attachment 173682 [details] Gwenview freezes while opening a picture SUMMARY Opening files in large folders on HDD freeze Gwenview. It seems that it's also processing other files in that folder and locks itself while doing so. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open picture in large (>1 GiB) folder on HDD OBSERVED RESULT Gwenview will freeze until it processes ALL files in that folder. EXPECTED RESULT I just want to view a single file. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.8-2-cachyos (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz Memory: 15.6 ГиБ of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Would be great if Gwenview would process another files in parallel without locking its GUI.
