I wanted to report another bug where personnally I found a workaround to fix, see below. thank you again for your great work ! 
In  some cases the faces (including the position of the faces) are not able to be written in the MetaData (without notification by the way).
To me I strongly recommend to use by default the fantastic option using Exiftool.

In the installation I noticed there is Exiftool.exe embedded in the DigiKam install (in C:\Program Files\digiKam\Exiftool.exe) BUT not the libraries. When I copy/paste libraries (meaning C:\Program Files\digiKam\exiftool_files), it is successful.

Surprising DigiKam natively uses ExifTool while it invites to download it in the settings
