SUMMARY
When you hold shift and drag a window, you can drag a window into a tile. I was not able to find the shortcut setting for this. Not in Shortcuts kcm or Desktop Effects. -> Tiling Editor. My use case was mostly to remind myself what the shortcut was, not to rebind it.
