This is a feature request. I was asked to post it here as a "bug".

I recently tried out Aurora (https://getaurora.dev/), an immutable Linux distribution based on Universal Blue/Fedora Atomic Desktop, which is advertised as the "KDE version." However, I noticed that KDE Konsole is hidden by default, and instead, a Gnome-focused terminal called "Ptyxis" (https://gitlab.gnome.org/chergert/ptyxis) is used.

I made a forum post (https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/please-treat-kde-konsole-as-a-first-class-citizen-on-aurora-and-not-ptyxis/3321) requesting that Konsole be prioritized on this KDE-based distribution. The response was:

> Until Konsole has a drop-down for distrobox images I see no reason to even consider it.

They’re referring to this feature: https://gitlab.gnome.org/chergert/ptyxis/-/raw/main/data/screenshots/containers-menu.png.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the technical expertise to describe this feature request in detail, but it seems to involve deep integration between containers/Distrobox and the terminal. Could something like this be added to Konsole?

Thank you.
