SUMMARY
8.2 running successfully. Uninstalled. Renamed all directories associated with digicam. Installed 8.4.0 Qt6. Ran for first time. Took defaults for database and did not choose any photo collections. System displays screen questioning whether optional files required. Before any digikam system crashes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Uninstalled 8.4.0
2. Reinstalled 8.4.0
3. Tried running again. Same result

Digikam crashed (see screen shot)

If you get a blank white program window, your graphics card is not supported with OpenGL.
