SUMMARY
Clicking on a menu bar item that is not the first item will open the first item

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Be on wayland, kde6
2. Open Mousepad, Sublime text (4) or any other application that uses the same gui framework
3. Click any menu bar item, except for the first and see the first item open.

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
Open the correct item in the menu bar, like what happens on x11

Linux/KDE Plasma: EndeavourOS

But it is not just a problem with sublime text, mousepad is also affected.

FWIW, I can't reproduce with mousepad.

They might find a log of WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 mousepad in your bug report there.

I don't know what framework they're using though.

Additionally the issue cannot be reproduced on Gnome Wayland, so it still looks like an issue with KDE itself.
