The dialog should only appear once, if set to "Remember my selection" Can you share more information of your system? It's possibly a bug with the portal itself, not KRDP (I know, it's a bit confusing :/ ) Set as waitingforinfo (In reply to Akseli Lahtinen from comment #1) > The dialog should only appear once, if set to "Remember my selection" > > Can you share more information of your system? (In reply to wolfyrion from comment #0) > > SUMMARY > KRDP - Enabling autostart requires user interaction at startup > > STEPS TO REPRODUCE > 1. Go to Settings - Remote Desktop -> enable autostart on login > 2. > 3. Can confirm this also does not Autostart on login for me if I have "Autostart on login" checked off. Yet the "Enable RDP server" is not toggled ON. It is OFF. Using Plasma version 6.1.1 Frameworks version: 6.3.0 QT Version: 6.7.1 Kernel Version: 6.9.7-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics: Wayland The "restoring future sessions" seems not working. It keeps asking for sessions before each connections, even if I already checked it before. However, I didn't experience dialogs at startup. The dialog always shows when a client is making a connection. OS: Arch Linux KDE Plasma: 6.2.5 KDE Frameworks: 6.9.0 KWin: 6.2.5 KRDP: 6.2.5 I am seeing this too on Solus Plasma, also the setting remember for future sessions doesn't survive reboot or after a few hours of lock screen. Getting password read error -7 when I have auto-login enabled in Solus plasma with KRDP auto start. Is it loading too fast and not reading the set password? This is now somewhat addressed with the readme in: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/krdp/ See the section "CLI" It's not a perfect UX, but we're making steps towards it |
