Description Fernando M. Muniz 2024-06-08 15:48:59 UTC
A feature to, for example, allow us to set 50% volume for speakers, but then automatically raise to 100% volume when a headset is connected, then automatically go back to 50% when it's disconnected.

As it currently is, these things must be adjusted manually every time.

This should help people who has to work with audio at night but has bad audio jacks on their headset and/or computer.

This is exactly how it works for me on my audio setup. The behavior is unfortunately controlled by PulseAudio, PipeWire, or WirePlumber; if you're not seeing this work as expected, you'll need to report it to one of them.

Turns out his was just a visual bug because the system icons don't properly reflect the device change to its proper sound.
