Can you be specific about the differences in resolutions and scale factors you use on your laptop when it's connected to external monitors vs not? Sure. My internal 14-inch screen supports up to a 2240x1400 display. When I connect to a 24-inch external monitor, which has a 1920x1080 resolution, the content displayed on the internal screen becomes too small. To make the display fit the physical size of the monitors, I adjust the internal monitor resolution to 1440x900. However, when I take out the laptop and it is not connected to the external monitor, I prefer to restore the internal screen resolution to 2240x1400, otherwise, the content appears too large for me. |
