SUMMARY
Opening a folder with AppImages in them will not show their App Icons.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Dolphin
2. Navigate to a folder with AppImages that have App Icons

OBSERVED RESULT
$ dolphin
kf.coreaddons: "Could not load plugin from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt6/plugins/kf6/thumbcreator/appimagethumbnail.so: Die Bibliothek /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt6/plugins/kf6/thumbcreator/appimagethumbnail.so kann nicht geladen werden: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libappimage.so.1.0: undefined symbol: _ZNKSt7__cxx1115basic_stringbufIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEE12_M_high_markEv"
[Same error multiple times.]

You see standard icons for executables instead of the App Icons.

EXE icons work fine

You can see icons from windows programs.

With Dolphin 24.08.01 it looks like I can't reproduce the icon problem anymore after the Ubuntu 24.04.1 rebase.

If I start Dolphin in the terminal I can see this error printed though:
ERROR: appimage_read_file_into_buffer_following_symlinks : Entry doesn't exists: .DirIcon
