SUMMARY

When dragging the mouse cursor from Android to control the laptop in Kubuntu 23.10, moving the cursor to the edges from the sides automatically changes the pointer's location.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the KDE Connect app on Android.
2. Connect the Android device to the laptop.
3. Drag the mouse cursor from Android to the laptop and move it to the edges from the sides.

OBSERVED RESULT

The pointer's location automatically changes when moved to the edges from the sides.

EXPECTED RESULT

The mouse pointer should maintain its location when moved to the edges from the sides.

Not shure if this issue is mentioned some other place as well.
I have the same issue and it is difficult to use KDE connect to control the PC like that.
Becalse you have to be carefull not to hit the corners when using KDE connect.
If you do the mouse will move to some other spot.
I not entirely shure how this miscalculation in KDE connect occurs.
But maby it is related to the resolution of my monitor (UHD 16:9 with 60HZ on 150% scale) .
And also may be connected to the fact that I still have to use x11 for my setup.
I have a 3079TI by the way, any hints would be great.
I think the other spot the mouse jumps to is always within FHD regions.
So if I go to the bottom right corner it jumps to the middle.

I am trying to reproduce this so that I can work on a fix. But I don't understand the problem properly. I tried to use KDE connect as input and tried moving the cursor around. Am I missing something? I think I can fix this if I know the exact thing to fix.

Not shure how it happens but Wayland is not an issue.
Is you need:
KDE x11
Mabey have to change your scaleing settings to 150%
Mabey Nvidea GPU
Mabey use Proprietary drivers

Other than that Im not shure.
