SUMMARY

When having a KDEConnect widget on desktop, pressing a hamburger menu (to use feature like "browse this device" or "ring phone") after a second, triggers a widget edit mode where you can move/resize the widget, and closes the hamburger menu.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put a KDEConnect widget on the desktop
2. Connect a device
3. Press the hamburger menu on the widget

OBSERVED RESULT
After a second of pressing the hamburger menu, it closes and opens a widget edit mode.

EXPECTED RESULT
Hamburger menu opens and stays open, widget edit mode does not open at all.

This problem has existed for years now except with plasma 6 it got worse. In the past the menu popup was a least usable but now it simply disappears after a second.

This has been my experience also. It still happens to me on both my Neon desktop and my Tumbleweed laptop. Not a complete show-stopper, but very annoying and crippling to the widget nonetheless.
