GNOME top left corner with XWaylandVideoBridge removed
Probably related to #474966 (which I'm linking). Except in my case the artifact is not thin, does not extend to the bottom, and is visible on the primary (actually, on the only) monitor on a laptop not connected to any external display (In reply to Michel Lind from comment #0) > GNOME top left corner with XWaylandVideoBridge installed > > SUMMARY > On a fully updated Fedora 40 pre-release system, if I have GNOME and KDE > both installed (first installing Fedora Workstation, then 'sudo dnf > groupinstall @kde'), a blank window artifact is shown when logging into a > GNOME session > > STEPS TO REPRODUCE > 1. Install Fedora Workstation 40 pre-release > 2. `sudo dnf groupinstall @kde` > 3. Log into KDE > 4. Log into GNOME Same, except for me it was stable/final Fedora Workstation 40 and the white rectangle showed up without me switching to/logging into KDE after the groupinstall, just GNOME, after rebooting I think. Removing xwaylandvideobridge solved the problem.
