SUMMARY
The with of cover art + title/album + playback controls is limited to the with of password field + '">" button, this often makes the title of the playing music elided in the screen locker.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. play a music with a long title with a player controllable with Media Player applet in the system tray
2. lock the screen
3. observe the title of the playing music in the screen locker

OBSERVED RESULT
elided music title, as seen in the attached picture

EXPECTED RESULT
entirely readable music title

Can you let us know if this is still an issue in Plasma 6.3.2?
I checked on git-master as well as 6.3.2. The font used for the music information is smaller. This allows more text to be displayed. On my lock screen it looks much better than in your screenshot.

I'm still getting the result seen in the attached screenshot.

The current design puts everything on one row: art, labels, and playback buttons. And this row is designed to be the same width as the row above it, which is quite narrow.

I think this needs a fundamental redesign, since no bug-fix is really possible.

P.S. good taste in music :)
