This is confirmed to be caused by the upgrade from Qt 6.6.2 to Qt 6.7, but I'm not a developer so can't investigate further causes. This may not be a bug in kfilemetadata, but a bug of Qt itself...? Confirmed as a Qt bug. Let's close this now. |
Created attachment 168462 [details] Screenshot SUMMARY In Simplified Chinese (zh_CN) locale, all file types are displayed as English, while in other locales (I tested zh_TW and ja_JP), everything works fine. This bug is independent of the version of `shared-mime-info`. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux 6.6.26 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0
