Sentry Crash Report:

Description Unknown 2024-03-29 10:54:08 UTC
SUMMARY
IMAP-folders stay offline no matter what I do. Neither restarting the PC nor restarting akonadi nor restarting kmail fixes the problem. Settings and password are correct. Initially the IMAP sync worked for the first 2 hours or so.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up an IMAP account correctly and sync
2. Wait a few hours and IMAP shows as offline
3. Tell kmail to sync IMAP-folders manually.

OBSERVED RESULT
Kmail will try to get online, but stays offline. No error messages appear.

EXPECTED RESULT
Kmail should go online and sync the folders.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: OpenSUSE Tumbleweed 20240325
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This behavior started after updating to Plasma 6. The same happens with the integrated calendars and contacts as well, so maybe an akonadi bug?

Hello,

I confirm the behavior. I created another bug 486160 for this and found this report thereafter.

Hello,

see if the workaround in the bug 486160 works for you. I am not sure about SuSE, but there should be some similar file or it could be overriden by configuration file in /etc/NetworkManager.
