If it only affects the task manager, it'll be some bug there. FWIW it does work for me though, might be specific to how your touchpad emits events or something (In reply to Zamundaaa from comment #1) > If it only affects the task manager, it'll be some bug there. > FWIW it does work for me though, might be specific to how your touchpad > emits events or something hm anyway i can test or provide more info regarding that? actually just reverting this makes it work again https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/commit/f2160c3b68c4adcac6c399e14a88b80c23343d55 Want to add this isn't Wayland-specific. ELAN touchpad, same problem, persists regardless of whether I'm using Wayland/X11. Re: a touchpad-dependent problem, also want to note virtual middle-clicking does work. Doesn't matter which is set in touchpad settings to 2-finger-click and which is 3-finger-click: virtual middle-clicking works, and virtual right-clicking does not. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 482813 *** Re: marking this a duplicate, this seems to describe a different problem than 482813. 482813 is about two-finger TAP to right-click ("Two-finger tap" setting) not working, whereas this report is about two-finger CLICK to right-click ("Right-click" setting) not working. I actually misread it myself. My earlier comments here are relevant to 482813, and I'm not experiencing a problem with two-finger click at all, which to me implies their underlying causes may be different. |
