NOTE: This is not reproducible in Windows 11 (work laptop connected through a dock), nor is it reproducible by manually powering down and restarting the monitor using the power button, so there seems to be something about the way KDE is handling the power down when the system goes idle that is triggering the behavior. Please attach the output of drm_info before, and again after reproducing the issue Created attachment 168402 [details]

okay, KWin's still setting the output to HDR mode, so this is a driver bug. You can report it at https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/c/gpu-graphics/linux |
