STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the application launcher
2. click peek at desktop widget
3. hover over the applet that in the panel

OBSERVED RESULT
there is a blue line over the applets that shouldnt be there

EXPECTED RESULT
the blue line shouldnt be there

Sigh, it does look like the exact same issue. Since we have multiple reports of this, I'll re-open the original report. Marking this as a duplicate of it. Bug 479084.
