Hi - I've just checked for update in Discover on my Neon system and it has shown the notification icon as per this screenshot. Can you confirm if this is what is missing on your system? Thanks, Nick
No, it isn't. It's the same icon, sure, but now it opens Discover directly. In Plasma5 it used to open packagekit (Yast for openSUSE) OK - it sounds to me like your issue is openSUSE specific as on Neon it will always open Discover.
