Unfortunately this would be a Thunderbird bug. DND mode can only suppress sounds that come from notifications; if Thunderbird plays the sound via the main UI rather than a notification, we can't do anything about it. I know yo said this didn't happen in 5.27, but it's possible that Thunderbird itself was updated around the same time and made this change coincidentally. Regardless, please submit a bug report for Thunderbird. |
