Are you saying that Plasma sometimes freezes when you plug in your second monitor? The symptoms you're describing sound like that, but it's not 100% clear. (In reply to Janet Blackquill from comment #1) > Are you saying that Plasma sometimes freezes when you plug in your second > monitor? So when this happens, if you right-click on the panel background, you see a context menu, but when you right-click on the digital clock, nothing happens? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > So when this happens, if you right-click on the panel background, you see a > context menu, but when you right-click on the digital clock, nothing happens? yes nothing happend it only show context menu and only widget work is system tray and all of the items in it. even pager viewer unable to click or move window after connected display the only way to fix is plasmashell --replace every time i connect or disconnect monitor I'm afraid I'm still having a hard time understanding what exactly the issue is. What kind of GPU are you using? Any chance you could attach a screen recording that shows it happening? Created attachment 167464 [details]

Any chance you could attach a screen > recording that shows it happening? Thanks, that helps. Based on the screen recording, it looks like you're experiencing multiple issues. One related to your top panel, one related to hotplugging monitors, and one related to the very old NVIDIA GPU you've got. The first two should be fixed in Plasma 6.0.3, so let's mark this as a duplicate of the remaining one that's open, which is Bug 478556. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 478556 *** |
