now it looks even worse
If we did this, everyone would complain, because fixed-size windows are terribly for usability. If you *do* have large content, it's nicer to enlarge the window than it is to scroll--especially horizontally. So I don't think we'll be changing this, sorry! You're actually right about the window itself but full-width tab contents make usability just worse. There are better practises in Plasma itself. You should check the attachments I will now add.
