STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Printers from Discover
2. Try to make any change to settings 
3. Close program 

OBSERVED RESULT

Error message box pops up on screen "CUPS SERVER ERROR - connection reset by peer' 
2nd error message box pops up on screen "There was an error during the CUPS operation - Success' 
Can not close error boxes (can't click off)
Can not close Printer program (Not responding) or force close it 


EXPECTED RESULT

Printer settings changed
You can close printer program 
You can 'X' off error messages

CUPS isn't KDE code, and it looks like the app you've downloaded to manage it is a GNOME app, by the looks of the dialog you're seeing. As such I would recommend reporting this issue to the authors of the app you downloaded.
