SUMMARY
***
After update to RC2 I see 2 icons in the taskbar: "peek at desktop" and "close all windows". There used to be only one of these two. (And that being the one that would be there on a default install.)
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update to RC2?
2. Boot, log in
3. Look at the taskbar

OBSERVED RESULT
an extra widget icon appears without me knowingly doing anything to add it

EXPECTED RESULT
no widget should be added

Some one else is reporting the appearance of an extra widget as well.

Can you hover the mouse over it and attach a screenshot?

Sorry, I removed the icon some time back, so I can't provide a screenshot.
I've contacted the other use that reported the same bug (but with a different icon), but they also removed the extra icon.

Sorry, but I can't help at the moment.

Panel showing dup

The 2nd and 3rd position on the panel both are Dolphins and exhibit the same behavior and tooltips.
There's some variance as to exactly what of my other icons will show up, but dolphin seems to have a higher change than anything else.
My panel is set to autohide, and when first opened it showed two dolphins one in position two and one perhaps position five, then it spontaneously jumped to position 2 and 3 as shown in the screenshot.

That seems like it could be a separate issue from the one that was originally reported here.
