Do you in fact have network connectivity? Are you not using NetworkManager to manage that network connectivity? Do you have Discover's PackageKit package installed? Yes, I am using ethernet cat 5.0 wired to the modem on this machine in particular. Ping works fine, also see 2: enp0s25 below:

I believe that yes I do have Discovers PackageKit installed. See following:

When I open Software Discover Center and tick update, updatable packages are in fact able to be listed available for installation. So from what I can see, yes there is absolutely connectivity.

Created attachment 165464 [details] Discover Software Center, Unable to load applications. SUMMARY Launching software discover center displays the following: 'Unable to load applications' message. It can be updated without a problem though GUI it appears. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Discover Software Center 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Unable to load applications message. EXPECTED RESULT Able to load applications message. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.114.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have looked around a bit and have not found many examples of this so I really do not know if this is common. operating system is openSUSE Tumbleweed fully updated.
