This is actually intentional! It's to make sure that hitboxes on the panel don't move left/right when the panel float/de-floats. Otherwise you could get in a situation where you click on a task manager icon to open a window that touches the panel, the panel de-floats, the button moves away from under your mouse cursor, and you can't click again to close the window. |
