You also have to activate the filter here: Network -> Receiving -> Modify -> Filter messages if they are greater... This bug is the same as Bug 39413, which imo should NOT be closed: i.e. it is still very unapparent how this works.. Why the &^$&^%%^$#$# isn't this pointed out anywhere in the documentation or the pop filter dialog?! And is there someway just to have it delete pop mail via filter without popping up a dilaog box all the time?
