SUMMARY
Kate editor can't COPY text.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. select text in Kate editor
2. Ctrl+C or context menu > Copy

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing in clipboard

EXPECTED RESULT
text copied into clipboard

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 11 Pro 64 bit

I tried that with

Kate
Version 23.08.4

from

https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Windows%2064-bit/job/Kate_Release_win64/2262/
 
on Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, with latest updates, works for me, can copy to other Windows programs and Kate itself.
