Does it ever succeed? If it did, how long did it take? If not, how long did you let it wait for before giving up and reporting this bug? First, I waited around 20 minutes before giving up. After a reboot, I tried again and gave up after 5 minutes and updated with dnf, which took much less times. I think I've see packagekit-dnf getting stuck once before... In any case these should help https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-e2962fcb2a - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-f356f702f4 simply because they reduce the stuff that needs to be downloaded for a refresh That would make sense. Let's re-evaluate in Plasma 6 which includes your other changes too. FWIW I don't get super long load times anymore in Plasma 6. |
